Medicom® Safe+Mask® expands across all 3 ASTM barrier levels.

In harmony with international ASTM standards for mask performance, Medicom® is proud to introduce an important upgrade to its Safe+Mask® Premier portfolio: Expansion into low, moderate and high barrier. Basically, the ASTM barrier indicates the level of protection measured by bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE), differential pressure, sub-micron particulate filtration efficiency (PFE), synthetic blood penetration resistance, and textile flammability.
For advanced protection, select among the new and improved Safe+Mask® Premier® (low barrier), Safe+Mask® Premier® Plus (moderate barrier) and Safe+Mask® Premier® Elite (high barrier).
For increased comfort, select Safe+Mask® SofSkin® (low barrier), offering a soft and light inner tissue material for sensitive skin.
Look for these new products available nationwide in your favorite colors as of September 2007.
