“Brush-on” Varnish Changes Fluoride Application Methods

Medicom, Inc. recently introduced their new and improved Duraflor® 5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish in their U.S. Dental Market. Multiple flavors and packaging are now offered in their unit dose format. Each unit dose is completely sealed for added cross-contamination protection and includes an applicator brush and a separate fluoride varnish cup (well). Newly designed and patented, this unique dispensing system allows for the varnish cup to break away and attach to a prophy cup holder for convenient easy placement. Duraflor® will save dental professionals time and money while increasing patient comfort.

Duraflor® Varnish in unit dose is available in new Raspberry flavor (0.4 mL dosage) for adults and Bubble Gum (0.25 mL dosage) for children. Medicom's Duraflor® Varnish is sweetened with Xylitol to enhance patient acceptance and for it's well established anti-carries benefits. Multi-sized packaging has been introduced to meet a wider variety of patient needs, including a 32-count box and convenient 200-count clinic pack.

Duraflor® 5% Neutral Sodium Fluoride Varnish provides a new & improved innovative method of applying fluoride treatments. Duraflor® is easy and simple to use! Just paint-on a thin layer of fluoride varnish and it dries immediately to a natural white tooth color (even in the presence of saliva).
