Now available in 3 new dye-free flavour fusions, CinntMint, MelonMint and CitrusMint!
Inspired by the fusions of flavor seen across the food industry, Medicom is pleased to introduce three new blends of exclusive flavours, CinnaMint, MelonMint and CitrusMint which are designed to satisfy taste buds while providing the protection and results you expect from DentiCare fluorides. Our new blends start with refreshing mint and combine it with three different, delicious extracts, to create exciting new combinations. Now dye free, the natural, clear appearance is great for patients with aversion or allergies to dyes, and for patients who have undergone whitening procedures.

Q: Are fluoride treatments effective after age 16?

Q: At which age do we start applying fluoride treatment for children?
A: Usually around 6 years old. (Except in high risk situations, where bi-annual treatment may begin at 3 years old.)
The 60 second fluoride GEL or FOAM is recommended for children as well as Duraflor.
Q: What are the benefits in choosing a fluoride product?
A: When it comes to patient acceptance, there are several important considerations. Accepted flavors, texture, ease of usage and effectiveness are all features to consider. Fluoride benefits include preventing decay, recurrent decay and sensitivity.
Q: Is Pro-Gel 2% Neutral Sodium Flouride a 60 second application or 4 min. application?
A: The labeling suggests using the gel up to 4 minutes and we should follow the label whenever possible. However, Health Canada suggest the use of any fluoride for at least a minute.
